Launch of an Artisan business

Lisa Lochhead is a successful artist and designer who has been running her business for over 3 years. She has branched out into her own studio space in the heart of Whitchurch, Shropshire and wanted to launch this beautiful space with a small launch party for friends, colleagues and collectors of her work.
Lisa approached me with a detailed outline of her launch event. She wanted my support on the run up to the event and on the day. By doing so, she would then be free to talk to her guests without having to monitor catering, drinks and hospitality.
On the run up we met a couple of times to fine tune her ideas, specifically looking at catering and budgets. Together we developed a sweet treat art themed menu, laid out design ideas for the day and finalised the ‘concept’ for her launch.
I then worked closely with the caterers, ensuring Lisa’s vision was accomplished. On the day I ensured the food and drink were displayed, looking after the guests and providing support throughout. It was a highly successful day, ending with a thorough clean up and pack down.
